Handwara, Aug 12: As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, a vibrant Mega Tiranga Rally was organised on Monday in Kralgund Qaziabad to mark the 79th Independence Day celebration. Principal Higher secondary school M H Pora Mushtaq Ahmad, SHO Kralgund Police Station, Inspector Sameer Altaf led the event.

The rally was organised to instil patriotic fervour and promote a spirit of unity.

It saw enthusiastic participation from a large number of students, teachers, Numberdars and Chowkidars and locals.

Carrying the tricolour and chanting national slogans, participants filled the main market and streets of Kralgund with the colours of the nation.

The rally commenced from Government higher secondary schoo MH Pora and passed through the main market, attracting widespread public attention. Educational institutions, civil society members and officials from various departments were actively involved.

The Principal and SHO Kralgund highlighted the significance of the campaign, urging citizens to hoist the national flag on their homes from August 13 to 15 as a tribute to the nation’s journey of independence.

Both praised the overwhelming participation of the youth, calling them the torchbearers of the country's bright future.

The rally concluded with the singing of the national anthem, symbolising a collective commitment to the ideals of freedom, unity and integrity.

The local administration, police, educational institutions and community members cooperated to organise the programme, which reflected a deep patriotic spirit.
